Creative Director and founder Walter Hood is a recipient of an Academy of Arts and Letters Architecture Award, a MacArthur Fellowship, and the 2021 recipient of the Architectural League’s President’s Medal award. Carter Design is a bicoastal boutique interior design studio founded in 2010 by the husband-and-wife team of Genevieve White Carter and Cy Carter. Known for taking an anthropological approach to the design process, the couple creates residential and commercial spaces that tease out the essence of their inhabitants through a savvy and spirited interchange of materials, art and objects, whether the house is a glass-and-steel mid-century modern in the Hollywood Hills or an 18th-century clapboard in the Hamptons.

AUX Architecture is led by Brian Wickersham and the Los Angeles-based practice brings craft and clarity to designs at every scale—from hearth to urban realm. Collaboration is the soul of the studio.
